RAMMSTEIN TOUR 2027? WHAT THE MCT JOB AD REALLY MEANS
An Instagram post has sparked discussion in the Spanish-speaking Rammstein community over the past few days. The fan page Rammexicanos refers to a job advertisement by the Berlin-based agency MCT, which has organized the band’s tours for years. Based on the time frame of the job listing, parts of the community speculated whether this could point to possible tour preparations for 2027.
What is important here: Rammexicanos did not announce a tour, nor did they claim that a Rammstein tour next year had been confirmed. It is a fan interpretation or speculation surrounding a real job advertisement.
At first, it sounds like an interesting lead. But on closer inspection, there is little solid evidence behind it.
THE JOB ADVERTISEMENT DOES EXIST
On the industry portal MusikWoche, there has been a job advertisement from MCT since last summer for a position in ticketing. The role is full-time, starts on September 1, 2025, and is fixed-term until April 30, 2027. This exact end date is likely what triggered the speculation, as it falls conveniently before a typical summer tour season.
However, a fixed-term contract does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a tour schedule. Besides Rammstein, MCT works with a number of international artists, including Robbie Williams, Moby, Trentemøller, Björk, Massive Attack and Marilyn Manson. A ticketing position could relate to any of these acts or simply cover ongoing day-to-day business. Fixed-term contracts are standard in the industry.
WHAT THE BAND ITSELF HAS SAID
The last reliable statement about the future came from Paul Landers in July 2024. He confirmed a creative break for 2025 and 2026, with no tours planned. Instead, the single “Ramm 4”, a documentary and a live album from Mexico were planned.
More recently, Flake Lorenz reportedly became more specific during a reading in Rathenow. According to reports, the keyboardist said that Rammstein would go on tour again, but that 2027 would probably be too early. The band needs a new stage. The iconic structure from the stadium tour was reportedly scrapped after the end of the 2024 tour.
PART OF A WIDER WAVE OF FAKES
The Rammexicanos post itself is not a scam and not a fake report. The page is an established fan community and has not published an official tour announcement. However, parts of the community used the post as a reason to speculate once again about a possible return of Rammstein to the stage.
At the same time, the discussion fits into a broader wave that has recently gained significant momentum: AI-generated tour posters with invented dates, fake news pages with alleged band statements, Reddit insiders with exclusive sources, and scam websites such as rammsteintour.us, which we have already documented. The Berliner Kurier also warned extensively about such campaigns just a few days ago.
CONCLUSION
An official tour announcement will come, if it comes, via rammstein.de. Not through a job advertisement on an industry portal and not through fan speculation.
Until then, the same rule applies as with previous waves of rumors: hoping is allowed, but you should only believe it when the band itself speaks.
What remains are the announced releases: “Ramm 4”, the documentary and the Mexico album. Enough to bridge a possible waiting period.
Note on the update
Update: Following a note from Rammexicanos, the wording of this article has been clarified. The original version could have been misunderstood as suggesting that Rammexicanos themselves had announced a Rammstein tour for 2027 or presented it as almost certain. That is not the case. Rammexicanos has not confirmed any tour. The article has therefore been adjusted to make clear that this is fan speculation surrounding a real MCT job advertisement.
