Rammstein Tour 2027? What the MCT Job Posting Really Means

A post from the Spanish-language fan page Rammexicanos has been making the rounds in the international Rammstein community over the past few days. The claim: Berlin-based MCT Agentur, which organises the band's tours, has started hiring new staff. The conclusion drawn by the page is that an official announcement of a 2027 summer tour is only weeks or months away.

Sounds promising. A closer look tells a different story.

The job posting is real

A listing on the German industry portal MusikWoche confirms that MCT has indeed been advertising a position. The role: ticketing, 40 hours per week, starting 1 September 2025. The contract is fixed-term until 30 April 2027. That end date is likely what set off the rumour mill. It sits conveniently before a typical summer tour kick-off.

A fixed-term contract is not a tour plan, however. MCT represents a long list of international artists alongside Rammstein, including Robbie Williams, Moby, Trentemøller (who has already announced a German tour for early 2027), Björk, Massive Attack and Marilyn Manson. A ticketing role could refer to any of them or simply cover routine business. Fixed-term contracts are standard in the touring industry.

What the band actually says

The last reliable statement on the band's future came from Paul Landers in July 2024. He confirmed a creative break for 2025 and 2026 with no tours. Instead, the band would focus on the upcoming single "Ramm 4", a documentary about Rammstein's history, and a live album recorded in Mexico.

More recently, keyboardist Flake Lorenz reportedly addressed the topic at a reading in Rathenow. According to attendees, he said Rammstein would tour again but added that 2027 was probably too early. His reasoning: the band needs a new stage. The iconic construction from the stadium tour was reportedly scrapped after the final shows in 2024.

Part of a wider wave of fakes

The Rammexicanos post itself is not a scam. The page is a long-standing fan community. But it fits into a pattern that has gained noticeable momentum recently: AI-generated tour posters with impossible dates, fake news sites featuring fabricated band statements, Reddit users claiming insider knowledge, and outright fraud sites such as the rammsteintour.us page we have already covered. Berliner Kurier published a detailed warning about these campaigns only a few days ago.

An official tour announcement, if and when it comes, will appear on rammstein.de. Not in a recruiter's job listing. Until then the same rule applies as during every previous rumour cycle: hope is fine, belief should wait until the band speaks for itself.

What remains are the confirmed releases: "Ramm 4", the documentary, the Mexico live album. Enough to bridge the wait.
