Terms of Use

Last updated: May 23, 2026

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between you as a user and the provider of LIFAD.world when using the website and the functions offered there, in particular user accounts.

1. Scope and Provider

The provider of the website lifad.world (the “Website”) is Gerhard Grunewald. Full provider and contact details can be found in the Legal Notice (Impressum).

LIFAD.world is a private, non-commercial fan project and is in no way affiliated with Rammstein, Till Lindemann or their management.

By registering a user account or using the Website, you accept these Terms of Use in their respective current version. Deviating terms of the user do not apply unless the provider expressly agrees to them.

2. Description of Services

The Website provides editorial fan content (e.g. news, reports and other articles). Registered users may have access to additional functions such as a user account and community features.

Use of the Website is free of charge. There is no entitlement to specific functions or to uninterrupted availability. The provider is entitled to add, change or discontinue functions.

3. Registration and User Account

  • Certain functions require the creation of a user account.
  • Registration is permitted to natural persons aged 16 and over. Persons under 16 may only create an account with the consent of their legal guardians.
  • The information provided during registration must be truthful and complete and must be kept up to date.
  • Access credentials, in particular the password, must be kept confidential and must not be passed on to third parties. The user is responsible for any activity carried out via their account.
  • Only one user account is permitted per person. Creating multiple or fake accounts is prohibited.
  • There is no entitlement to registration.
  • Account and profile data are stored on server infrastructure operated by the provider itself (a self-hosted Supabase instance) at Hetzner Online GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

4. User Obligations

When using the Website, applicable laws must be observed. In particular, it is prohibited to:

  • post unlawful, insulting, discriminatory, violence-glorifying, youth-endangering or pornographic content;
  • infringe the rights of third parties, in particular copyright, trademark, personality or data protection rights;
  • harass, threaten or insult other users;
  • distribute advertising, spam or chain letters;
  • use malware, impair the functionality of the Website or circumvent security measures;
  • automatically extract content (scraping) or impersonate another person.

5. User Content and Grant of Rights

The respective user is solely responsible for content they post (e.g. articles, comments, images). The provider does not adopt such content as its own.

The user warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the content they post. The user grants the provider the simple, non-exclusive and royalty-free right to store and display this content for the purpose of operating the Website. This right generally ends when the content is deleted.

The provider is entitled to remove content that violates these Terms of Use or applicable law.

6. Suspension, Termination and Deletion

  • The user may delete their account, or request its deletion, at any time.
  • The free-of-charge usage relationship may be terminated by either party at any time without notice.
  • The provider may temporarily suspend or permanently delete user accounts in the event of breaches of these terms or applicable law, taking the user's legitimate interests into account; in the case of serious breaches, with immediate effect.
  • After the account is deleted, the associated data will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Availability and Changes to the Service

The provider endeavours to keep operations as uninterrupted as possible but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical faults or force majeure may lead to restrictions. The provider is entitled to change or discontinue the free service in whole or in part.

8. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health.

In the case of slight negligence, the provider is only liable for the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) whose fulfilment is essential to proper use and on whose observance the user may regularly rely; in such cases liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.

Otherwise, liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. The provider accepts no liability for content posted by users or for the content of linked external websites.

9. Data Protection

The provider processes personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws. Details can be found in the Privacy Policy. Data processed in connection with the user account is stored on a self-hosted Supabase instance at Hetzner Online GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

10. Changes to these Terms of Use

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use with effect for the future, where necessary and provided the user is not unreasonably disadvantaged. The provider will give notice of changes in an appropriate manner. If the user does not object within a reasonable period or continues to use the Website, the amended terms shall be deemed accepted.

11. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the user has their habitual residence as a consumer remain unaffected.

The provider is not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Information about how we process your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
