On 14 September 2026, Rammstein posted a short teaser for "Live in Mexico City" across their channels. It shows the first footage from the concert film. A drone flies into the Foro Sol, the stadium in Mexico City where the band played three shows in October 2022.
All three nights were filmed, on 1, 2 and 4 October 2022, as part of the North American leg of the stadium tour. The film was directed by Paul Dugdale, who has made concert films with Adele, Coldplay, the Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift. According to the German rating board FSK, the cinema version runs just over 148 minutes and is rated 12 and over.
The band has not yet said when the live album will be released or in which formats. The fan site Rammstein World reports that several physical editions are planned.

Before that, the film is coming to cinemas. Rammstein have not published an official list of cinemas or dates so far. The only information available comes from individual cinemas that have put screenings online.
Apollo Kino in Cochem, Germany, will show "Live in Mexico City" on Wednesday, 4 November, and Saturday, 7 November 2026, both at 8 pm. Tickets cost 17 euros and are available at the box office or online.
Fan pages on social media report that cinemas in Mexico, the United States and Canada will follow. No specific dates have been announced for those yet.
