“I Was Supposed to Shave You, Till!” – A Night to Remember

I was just a regular audience member at the Malmö concert. I had brought a sign that read “Can I Shave You, Daddy?” – just a fun joke. I held it up during Altes Fleisch and Tanzlehrerin and Till responded both times with a clear “Yes” from the stage.

After the show, I went home. But I later heard that Till was asking for “the girl who wants to shave him”… but I was already gone 😔

A week later, I was in London with two friends – and to my surprise, I was on Till’s guest list. I never expected him to even show up at the party.

The vibe was amazing – safe, respectful, and full of lovely conversations. The crew was friendly and everything felt well organized.

Till arrived, greeted everyone, looked people in the eyes, and took time to talk to his guests. Sadly, his moustache was already gone...

I said: “I was supposed to shave you, Till!”
He replied with a laugh: “Yeah, but you ran away!”
That was the very first thing I ever said to him 😅

Some people didn’t get it, so he explained the story again with a smile.

Till was very friendly, relaxed, and had a great sense of humor. I was 18 at the time, and he made sure I felt comfortable. He teased me a bit, I teased him back – it was very lighthearted.

I showed him my new sign: “I Was Supposed to Shave You, Daddy!” – this one was A4 sized.
He looked at it and, like a true drama queen with attitude, he said:
“How do you think I would be able to read that from the stage? Do you think I am STUPID?!” – said with his iconic Till smile. #YouNeedGlassesTill 😂

I laughed so much at this party – his charm and humor really stood out.
The concert itself was incredible! While some guests stood near the stage, I preferred to be in the crowd.

After the show, he returned to the party and I was genuinely surprised by how professional and respectful everything was. Till was down to earth, not arrogant or superior at all.

I went home with my two friends – it was an amazing experience.

It was the first time I met Till, and I’ve seen him several times since.
He’s given me some of the happiest moments in my life.
I feel completely safe in his company.
