Since the first aftershow event on September 10, 2016, at the Maximus Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I have taken part in several backstage and aftershow experiences.
At that very first event, I was invited by the band’s manager — without having to do or give anything in return. All drinks were sealed, and I left whenever I wanted to.
On August 18, 2019, in Oslo, I entered in the same way — everything was very relaxed, no pressure, and again, I could leave whenever I wished.
For the concert at Foro Sol in Mexico City on October 4, 2022, I started talking with Alena.
She was very kind from the very beginning in the group. I asked the other girls what they were planning to wear — no one tried to tell me what I should or shouldn’t wear.
Before going backstage, I greeted Till, who was extremely kind and polite — he even tried not to stain my white blazer :P
During the concert, no one approached or pressured us, and the team made sure we were safe during the pyrotechnics.
After the show, I was invited to a more private gathering. Since I had been traveling and hadn’t slept, I didn’t really want to go.
However, one of the other women wanted to attend, so we went together. By “private gathering,” I mean a smaller get-together with a few people at another location.
From the moment I entered until the moment I left, I was never forced or pressured to do anything.
I did not drink alcohol (I’m an athlete and don’t consume alcohol or drugs).
Later that night, I returned to my hotel with three girls I had met there, and we had a really good time.
Later, in 2024, I attended several other aftershows, including one at the Knotfest in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 21, 2024.
Again — and also at the last aftershow in Lucca, Italy, this year — everyone was always very kind and respectful toward me.
Conclusion:
I have always felt comfortable and free to do whatever I wanted.
I felt respected, safe, and welcome. I had fun and met many new friends, thanks to Alena and others who made it possible for me to meet my idols in person.
