Why I Do All of This – and Why You're the Reason

What many people don't see: behind this idea of "adding to" there's a fair amount of work every month. Server costs, tools, the developer accounts for the app with Google and Apple. I carry all of that myself – by choice. Because I want to give you something that comes without advertising. We're surrounded by enough of it in everyday life; here, things should feel calm.

And it's far from over. I have no intention of drawing a line under this someday – quite the opposite: I want to expand it. Just how serious I am about that is shown by the Sehnsucht app, which has only just been released. It fills me with joy every single time I search for something on Google myself and our site actually shows up – a small sign that this has indeed found its place.

And in the end, it all comes down to the one thing everything depends on: you. The support, the many comments, your feedback. That's the real reward for the work, and it means more to me than I can put into words. For that, I simply want to say thank you.
